Construction QC Manager

Archer Western Construction | Tampa, FL
Responsible for the oversight of all site
construction activities for the demolition and reconstruction of two culvert,
floodgates, and related control systems and structures for the USACE as part
of the Lake Okeechobee rehabilitation projects. Responsible for
adherence to all contract requirements for Archer Western and all
subcontractors. Responsible for all aspects of construction quality;
coordination of all testing, inspections, and documentation; and serving as
the main point of contact for the USACE. Project value is $25 million.
Construction Quality Manager
March 2011 - August 2012
Conti Federal Services | New Orleans, LA
Responsible for the development and
implementation of the Construction Quality Program for federal construction
projects in the Gulf Coast Region. Responsible for the overall construction
quality, adherence to the project contract documents, and served as the main
point of contact for the USACE for the duration of the projects. Projects
included three large earthen levee, sector gate, flood wall, and operable
storm surge protection gates in the New Orleans area. Projects ranged in the
$50 - $100 million range. Projects, most notably LPV-149, a sector gate,
floodwall, and highway trolley gate project, earned numerous quality and
safety awards from the USACE.
Construction Quality Control Manager
February 2009 - March 2011
Tug Hill Construction | Ft. Benning, GA
Responsible for the implementation of the
Construction Quality Program for federal military construction
projects. Responsible for the overall construction quality, adherence
to the project contract documents, and served as the main point of contact
for the USACE for the duration of the projects. Projects included a command
post facility and base wide communication hub at Robbins Air Base, a digital
tank range at Ft. Stewart, GA, (including the data infrastructure, satellite
positioning devices, and target electronics) and a tank training course and
facility in Ft. Benning, GA. Project values were in the $80 to $120
million range.
Superintendent
December 2005 - February 2009
Manhattan Construction Company | Tampa, FL
Responsible for safety, productivity,
quality, and timely completion of commercial and institutional construction
projects. Successfully completed the construction of Summerlin Academy,
a public military academy in Bartow, Florida, as the lead on-site
superintendent for this Polk County School Board project. Was solely
responsible for the project schedule, subcontractor supervision, safety, and
all site activities for the duration of construction. This project was
submitted to ABC as Manhattan's entry for Quality Project of the Year.
Contributed to several other projects as Superintendent, including interior
buildout projects for Hillsborough Community College, The University of South
Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center, Manatee Memorial Hospital, Hillsborough
County School Board, and The Element, a 35-story condominium project in
downtown Tampa.

Mathews Construction | Tampa, FL
Served as on-site Project Manager for the
complete renovation of Plant City High School.
Responsible for project financial and
schedule control, change control, and contract management for the Plant City
High School renovation, which was half of a two high school renovation
package valued at approximately $24 million. Also contributed to the
Children's Board of Hillsborough County office building construction project
in Ybor City. Responsible for change control, submittal and RFI management,
and subcontract management.

Responsible for the management of several
multi-million dollar construction projects through the US Army Corps of
Engineers. Responsible for project budgeting, subcontractor control and
review, payment approval, and profitability of construction projects.
Projects included a new base communications facility at Homestead Air Reserve
Base, FL, two chapel additions at Fort Stewart, GA, and a lead abatement and
renovation of a special forces training facility at Fort Bragg, NC. Received
construction QA/QC certification through the Army Corp of Engineers.

management of subcontractors and employees to perform engineering and
construction work for our Corporate Engineering staff’ projects.
Responsible for on site safety, QA/QC,

equipment upgrades, and facility renovation and construction.

Responsible for safety, performance,

School District’ Bodine High School. Also managed numerous other process
